Noah Higgins: two announcements

Back in September we officially welcomed Noah Higgins to Team Disc Cellar, now we have his official player bio published. It’s a fun read, especially the memorable moment, a very mature tip and it’s always interesting to see what the future pros throw. So that’s the first announcement.

The second is that Noah’s going back to Junior World’s in 2018 and fundraising is already underway. As a successful amateur player Noah acquires ridiculous amounts of plastic when what he really needs are funds to help pay for entry fees and travel. As such we’ve teamed up and he’s put together some mystery boxes, available now through our store. The boxes were assembled and are shipped by Noah from Alberta, so if you buy other things in addition to one of his mystery boxes, they will ship separately. The boxes may include first runs. 100% of the proceeds go directly to Noah, so stock up, and help him get back to World’s!

Welcome Noah Higgins!

We’d like to formally welcome Noah Higgins to Team Disc Cellar, he is officially our youngest member. Normally we wait until we’ve put together the player bio before we post our announcements, but we’re too excited to wait!

Noah will be playing the BC Provincials this weekend in Kamloops, and watch out, he’s good. So far this year Noah has put together 7 top 10 finishes in Advanced (MA1), 3 top 5 and 1 win! All of that’s pretty good, but he also placed 12th at the PDGA Amateur and Junior Disc Golf World Championship earlier in the year, while playing 7 rounds above his rating including a 974 rated semi finals.

We look forward to watching Noah continue to develop and pursue his Disc Golf goals, we’re happy we’ve been able to make that pursuit just a little bit easier.

Welcome Noah!
